About Me

Gaenor qualified as a shiatsu practitioner with the European Shiatsu School in 2001. This inspired her to embark on a deeper study of Chinese medicine at the College of Integrated Chinese Medicine. Consequently she has been a practioner of acupuncture since 2004. She qualified to practise Chinese herbal medicine in 2006. Her continued professional development includes many adjuncts to general acupuncture such as Facial Rejuvenation and the Shen Hammer method of pulse diagnosis.

As a member of the British Acupuncture Council (MBAcC) she is recognised as having trained extensively and is bound to the highest professional standards by Codes of Ethics and Practice.

Gaenor has been a lecturer and teacher in art and holistic therapies and is now also a visual artist. She regularly practices yoga.

Taking into consideration the needs of each individual patient Gaenor can draw upon her fully qualified experience in a range of holistic therapies which are suitable with acupuncture. Combining massage, cupping and aromatherapy oils for a patient who gained complete relief from backpain is a case study example.

’My belief that each individual should have a unique and bespoke treatment has led me to integrate ancient and modern skills whereby the body mind and spirit can heal. I look to the root cause as well as the symptoms. I am constantly increasing my depth of knowledge and updating my skills in the fascinating art of healing for the body, mind and spirit.’
